OILSKIN - Oilskin is cotton canvas impregnated with an oil/wax finish to make it waterproof and windproof. The classic 11oz. is the original and heaviest AOC fabric, constructed for the harshest and most unpredictable climates.The care of oilskin clothing is performed by simply hosing or sponging it down with cold clear water, (no detergents, no soaps, no dry-cleaning). Unlike other shell fabrics however, cotton oilskin must be maintained with periodic reproofings to ensure watertight performance. The jackets can be quickly and easily reproofed, by yourself, with a reproofing cream.
Warranty - All AOC products are fully warranted to the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship.
